*vintage DIY shorts, vintage leopard sheer blouse, vintage peruvian llama bag, nine west boots from wasteland, gifted 18k gold and sterling silver konstantino bracelet

don't mind that my hair is like, 6 different colors right now. i'm trying to let it go back to it's natural color...and i honestly have no idea what that color is. it's looking to be a light brown. so currently i have this dark horizontal "stripe" in the middle of my hair because i don't want to bleach it to make it all the same color... maybe i'll start a new trend. stripes are so in right now.

so... if you look to the far right, you'll see the little bio my friend michelle wrote about me a few years ago. included in the description is "grandma's old couch"... and that would be directed straight to this outfit post. i am OBSESSED with gaudy 60s and 70s floral print upholstery fabrics. i would wear an entire wardrobe made from these fabrics if i could. i stumbled upon the most amazing pant/jacket set at one of my favorite vintage shops in fresno for 7 dollars... and decided that i needed to cut the pants into shorts- the final product being what i'm wearing above. i'm not home, so i haven't been able to hem them yet... but not sure that i will- i sort of like the fraying hems. so now i have a super awesome blazer in this same print, and yes, i put both of them on at the same time and almost walked out the door. i have SOME restraint. (not really, as i opted for a leopard blouse instead)

speaking of couches, i found an AMAZING white one (as well as a gorgeous mucha print) from the 70s at some old hippie dude's yard sale yesterday. can't wait to get it in my studio!!!

also- crystallized listings end soon!! shop!

I'm kind of at a loss of what to say, because I can't really manage to sum up how much I love those shorts into a coherent string of words. (And that top matches so perfectly, too.) Floral prints are the best thing ever, especially upholstry-types. ♥

Gah, I'm bidding on the snakeskin print mini-dress. Really hoping I win it, because it's probably the first thing I've ever found online that matches my body measurements, including my height! (It's impossible to shop for yourself when you're five feet nothing, sometimes.) Also, I'm the one who made off with your salmon/pink maxi dress~ Your store is my favourite one on ebay. :)

These shorts are unreal! They are so perfect. Also, not going to lie, kind of digging the hair stripe, even though I never would have noticed had you not pointed it out.

Love that you turned those into shorts.

I agree, the frayed hem look better than the clean hemline right now, debating whether or not I should take an old pair of jeans and cut them into shorts (and destroy them a bit with one of those razor cutters) ;)

Either way, I love those shorts and I love that bag too. Sweet!

This whole outfit is amazing! Those shorts are seriously incredible, they remind me of a pair of pants Keith Richards wore in the late 60s.
